L'orgue Automatique

This blog shows the progress day after day of a midi organ building. Midi organ is a barrel organ without cardboard or paper roll, just driven by a computer. It can be virtually as small as a busker and as big as a church organ. When you begin the construction you are are not sure of what size it will be! Solenoïds

I prepared the valves with red thin felt and leather. There is also a rubber washer to prevent noises when solenoïd is on action. The axle is glued to the brass
I need some leather to finish all the valves. Do you know where can I find a sheep?
I began to install solenoïds and wiring. Not so easy. You can see the electronic midi card. I can connect 64 solenoïds, I have just 38 for the moment.. Posted by Picasa
